FAQs

WHERE IS YOUR FESTIVAL HELD EACH YEAR?

The Clark Family Cultural Center, 400 S Jefferson St, Pensacola, FL 32502

IS ADMISSION REALLY FREE?

Yes! Our generous donors are dedicated to our mission to bring awareness and education surrounding LGBTQIA+ life and concerns through the medium of film.

ARE THERE MULTIPLE FILMS PLAYING AT ONCE?

Not typically. Films generally show in a scheduled sequence; however, we are looking at expanding into multiple screenings in 2024.

HOW DO YOU GET YOUR FILMS?

Film producers submit films directly to our festival through our partnership with Film Freeway

HOW ARE FILMS SELECTED?

Our Couch Critics, part of our Submissions Committee, watch or preview each film and compile the best films. Then, based on the films submitted, the committee then builds our daily schedule, ensuring that we have balanced representation. Our submissions committee also procures award-winning films from other well-known LGBTQ festival festivals around the world to supplement our lineup.

CAN I SUGGEST A FILM FOR CONSIDERATION?

Yes! If you have a film that meets our basic requirements, our Submissions Committee will consider adding it to our schedule.

CAN I VOLUNTEER TO HELP OUT AT THE FESTIVAL?

Yes! We typically need a handful of volunteers each night to help attendees check-in, greet guests, and answer general questions about the films and the venue. Volunteers may be eligible to become a VIP based on the number of hours served - please reach out for additional details.
